Presented in a stunning range of colors, textures and patterns, you’re sure to find the perfect choice to finish those special windows in your home or at your office. Coordinated liners are available for most fabrics when privacy is required. Our Specialty Pleated Shades treatment selections, round out our extensive Pleated Shade collection distinguishing us from other online retailers.

Constructed from a single piece of 100% polyester fabric, then carefully pleated into crisp folds giving our Pleated Shades their classic accordion like appearance, they are finished with a coating of fabric guard for added protection. Designed and manufactured for ease of use, and long life, only the finest components are used in FREEblinds.com.com Pleated Shades. For those who prefer hidden lift cords, a greater degree of insulation, or both, you may want to consider our Cellular Shades as an alterative.

Can't Decide? Read What Our Experts Say...

sherry The Design Perspective by Sherry Mehm - 18 years of shop at home decorating experience.
Pleated shades are made in many different types of fabrics. There are some fabrics that are very formal making them perfect in a dining room or living room. If a more casual feel is what you are wanting to achieve than there are endless choices for that. Privacy liners or blackout liners are usually best if the pleated shades are going to be put in bedrooms or entertainment areas where glare can cause a problem.
joe The Function & Installation Perspective by Joe Mehm - 22 years selling and installing window coverings.
Pleated Shades offer the same type of look and functionality as the cellular shades but at a better price. One disadvantage to the pleated shade is that the lift cords and the holes show from the inside where the cell shades have the cords hidden inside the cells. Our pleated shades are great for maximizing your view to the outside since they have an extremely small stack height. They don't offer the control of light and heat coming into the room like our horizontal and vertical blinds but make up for it with improved views to the outside.
Installation doesn't get any easier either. Most sizes only need two brackets and with only one screw needed per bracket your shades will be hung in no time.
